STEPHEN LAPINE
- 14 Years racing experience
- 9 local, regional & series Championships in Karting,
Mini-Sprints & full sized Sprint Cars.
- Over 100 feature race wins
in Karts & Sprints
(not including heat/preliminary wins)
- 1993 : Driver, Stephen LaPine, started Go-Kart racing at the age of 8 with a used Kart
- 1993 & 1994 : Competed full time under International Karting Federation sanctioning body
- 1995 - 2000 : Competed full time under World Karting Federation sanctioning bodies
- 1995: Purchased a new Kart and obtained the services of a professional motor builder. Success was almost immediate with wins and top finishes
- 1995 - 1999 : Competed in all WKA age groups and collected
seven Class and Regional Karting Championships
- 1998 : Purchased a second Kart and raced in two Junior classes with great success
- 1998 : WKA Dirt World Nationals, Daytona Beach, Florida, 16th qualifying effort (out of 105 entries) and a very respectful 9th place finish in the biggest Karting race in the nation!
- 1999 : Continued success with wins and top finishes in both classes
- 2000 : Competed in very competitive WKA Star Champ class with more wins and top finishes missing the Poughkeepsie Speedway Star Champ Class Championship by only 10 points!
- 2001 : Purchased a 750cc Winged Mini-Sprint and after a period of learning, a win was recorded near the end of the season & finishing 2nd in points in the 1200cc Mini-Sprint class at Accord Speedway
- 2001 : Awarded Accord Speedway 1200cc Mini-Sprint Division Rookie of the year
- 2002 : Finished 2nd in points in the 1200cc Mini-Sprint Division at Accord Speedway for the second straight year
- 2003 : Finished 3rd in points for the regular season in the 1200cc Mini-Sprint Division at Accord Speedway.
- 2003 : Finished 1st in the Fall Classic Series Point Championship at Accord Speedway
- 2004: Moved to full sized Sprint Cars & competed
on a limited schedule in the "360" sprint ranks with 2 top 5 and 2 top 10 finishes in 5 races.
- 2005: 1st feature win in a "360" sprint at Whip City
Speedway. Competed with "410" sprints Clinton County Fair
Speedway in central Pensylvania..
- 2006: Series champion and 6 wins with the new Capitol Region Sprintcar Alliance 305 series. Competed in both Patriot/ESS & World
of Outlaw events.
